I am an applied ecologist with 25 year of experience applying analytical, collaborative, programmatic, and technological skills to the conservation of endangered species across montane, boreal, marine, and arctic landscapes.

I embody i) a lifelong commitment to applying science to understand human impacts on ecosystems and societies, ii) a visceral enthusiasm for conserving diverse and intact landscapes, and iii) including the next generation in the journey as often as possible.

I'm a proud recipient & member of the extended Wilburforce Leaders in Conservation Science community.

Outside of work, I can be found exploring the flora and fauna of the Rocky & Northern Sierra Mountains with my family, most often interacting with a body of water.
