My top pick for lianyu square rectangular cake pans is the LIANYU 2 Pack 6 x 6 Inch set because its compact size and dual-pack value make it ideal for small-batch baking without cluttering your oven. If you need to bake larger loaves or a standard sheet cake, the LIANYU 8 x 8 Inch set is the smarter runner-up due to its generous surface area and included loaf pans.
• LIANYU 2 — best for individual portions and side dishes; pick this if you want a compact 6-inch square that fits easily in toaster ovens and offers two pans for simultaneous baking.
• LIANYU 2 — best for family-sized cakes and breads; pick this if you need an 8-inch square combined with large loaf pans for versatile meal prep and holiday entertaining.
• LIANYU 12⅓ — best for large gatherings and roasting meats; pick this if you require a spacious rectangular tray for casseroles, big batch brownies, or whole chicken dinners.
The LIANYU 2 Pack 6 x 6 Inch Square Baking Cake Pan is a powerhouse of efficiency for bakers who prioritize space-saving design without sacrificing quality. Crafted from food-grade stainless steel, these molds are inherently rust-resistant and free from harmful coatings, which means you can bake with total confidence that no toxic substances will leach into your batter. The brushed silver finish is not just aesthetically pleasing; it serves a functional purpose by ensuring that baked goods release cleanly, leaving behind minimal residue for easier cleanup. I appreciate how the one-piece construction eliminates seams where grime could hide, making these pans a hygienic choice for daily use.
What sets this specific model apart is its thoughtful dimensioning for smaller kitchens and modern appliances. At 6 inches on each side with a 2-inch depth, these pans are perfectly scaled for toaster ovens, air fryers, or even crowded conventional ovens where every inch counts. The substantial weight of the steel provides a sturdy feel in your hands, preventing the warping issues common with thinner, cheaper alternatives. This thickness also ensures that heat distributes evenly across the bottom and sides, which is critical for achieving that perfect golden-brown crust on brownies or a uniform rise in small cakes.
This set is specifically designed for the baker who enjoys variety. Since the package includes two identical pans, you can bake two different flavors simultaneously, save time by prepping multiple batches, or simply have a backup ready for when guests arrive unexpectedly. The rolled edges are smooth and tucked under the lip, offering a comfortable grip that protects your fingers from sharp metal burrs. Whether you are making cinnamon rolls, lasagna, or roasting vegetables for a quick side dish, these compact squares handle the job with grace. My only observation regarding trade-offs is that their smaller footprint might feel limiting if you are accustomed to baking full-size layer cakes or large family loaves in a single go, but for precision and convenience, they are unmatched.

Moving up in size, the LIANYU 2 Pack 8 x 8 Inch Square Cake Pan set introduces a more substantial presence to your kitchen arsenal. This collection is a comprehensive solution that combines an 8-inch square pan with two 12x5-inch loaf pans, creating a true all-in-one bakeware kit. Like its smaller sibling, it is constructed from high-quality, non-toxic stainless steel that resists rust and corrosion, ensuring long-term durability. The matte surface and seamless design prevent food from sticking to hard-to-reach corners, while the reinforced rolled edges provide a secure, comfortable grip even when the pans are hot or filled with heavy batter.
The versatility of this set shines through its ability to handle both sweet and savory applications with equal ease. The 8-inch square is the classic standard for brownies, sheet cakes, and casseroles, offering enough surface area to serve a family of four or six comfortably. Meanwhile, the included loaf pans are deep and robust, perfect for banana bread, zucchini bread, meatloaf, or freezing ice cream. The thick gauge steel in this set works wonders for heat distribution, allowing dense batters to bake evenly without burning the edges before the center is done. I find that the inclusion of the loaf pans makes this set particularly valuable for anyone who bakes bread regularly, as it removes the need to buy separate trays for those specific recipes.
For the home cook who values preparation speed, the dishwasher-safe feature is a significant plus, allowing you to toss these heavy-duty pans directly into the machine after a messy dinner. The stackable nature of the pans helps keep your cabinetry organized, though you should be mindful of the height when storing them alongside other items. The main trade-off here is the physical bulk; these pans are heavier and take up more cabinet and oven space than the 6-inch version. If you have a very small kitchen or a tiny oven, the 8-inch square might push the boundaries of your available room, but for most standard setups, the extra capacity and variety make this the superior choice for everyday cooking.
The LIANYU 12⅓ x 9¾ x 2 Inch Baking Pan Set represents the largest option in this lineup, designed explicitly for those who need maximum capacity and versatility for big meals. This rectangular pan is built to accommodate larger volumes of batter or ingredients, making it an excellent choice for hosting dinner parties, potlucks, or holiday feasts. The stainless steel construction remains consistent with the brand's commitment to safety and durability, offering a rust-resistant surface that stands up to years of heavy use. The glossy brushed finish not only looks professional but also minimizes the appearance of fingerprints and smudges, keeping your bakeware looking clean even after frequent use.
One of the standout features of this model is its generous depth. With 2-inch high sides, it holds significantly more volume than standard shallow pans, which prevents overflow when rising batters like sponge cakes or fluffy cornbread. This depth is equally beneficial for savory dishes; you can roast a whole chicken, fit a large casserole, or prepare a hearty lasagna without worrying about spills or the need for a rimmed baking sheet underneath. The rounded corners are a subtle but crucial design element, ensuring that your cake or bread doesn't get stuck in tight crevices, making removal effortless and preserving the shape of your creation.
This set is ideal for the baker who treats cooking as a central part of their lifestyle, whether that involves Sunday morning bread baking or weeknight family dinners. The ability to go from oven to freezer to dishwasher seamlessly adds a layer of convenience that busy households crave. However, the sheer size of this pan means it is less flexible for smaller tasks; you likely won't want to use it for a single serving or a quick snack. It requires a full-sized oven to function correctly, and its length may not fit in smaller countertop appliances. Despite this limitation, for anyone needing a reliable workhorse for large-scale baking and roasting, this rectangular pan delivers the performance and durability required.

Absolutely. All three models are designed with dishwasher-safe materials and finishes, allowing you to clean them thoroughly without hand-washing every time.
While the smooth stainless steel surfaces resist sticking better than some coated alternatives, we recommend using a light coating of grease or parchment paper for optimal release, especially with sticky batters like brownies or fruit-filled cakes.
Yes, the designs allow the pans to nest or stack efficiently within the same set, helping to save valuable cabinet space in smaller kitchens.
