Founder & Owner of Lian’s Acupuncture & Wellness, Dr. Jinwoo Kim

Dr. Jinwoo Kim is a highly experienced acupuncturist and herbal medicine practitioner with over 17 years of clinical experience in acupuncture, traditional medicine, and patient-centered care.

He completed advanced clinical training at the No. 1 Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a leading teaching hospital in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he gained extensive hands-on experience in stroke rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and complex pain management.

Dr. Kim holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM), a Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine (MTOM), and is a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) with board certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a Diplomate of Acupuncture (Dipl.Ac.).

With a strong foundation in traditional medicine and modern evidence-informed approaches, Dr. Kim provides personalized treatments tailored to each patient's condition, lifestyle, and health goals.

His approach focuses on treating the body as an interconnected system, supporting balance, improving function, and helping patients achieve lasting wellness. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, natural, and clinically grounded care for individuals experiencing chronic pain, neurological conditions, and post-injury challenges.

Dr. Kim is proud to call Rochester home with his wife, Clara Kim. Together, they are committed to serving and supporting the Greater Rochester community.
