Dr. Kim is the Founder of Lian’s Acupuncture & Wellness Clinic and a highly experienced acupuncturist and herbal medicine practitioner with more than 17 years of clinical experience in acupuncture, traditional medicine, and patient-centered care.
He completed advanced clinical training at the No. 1 Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a leading teaching hospital in Traditional Chinese Medicine. There, he gained extensive hands-on experience in stroke rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and complex pain management.
Dr. Kim holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) and a Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine (MTOM). He is a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and a board-certified Diplomate of Acupuncture (Dipl.Ac.) through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Combining traditional medicine with modern, evidence-informed approaches, Dr. Kim provides individualized care based on each patient’s condition, lifestyle, and health goals. His approach views the body as an interconnected system, with a focus on restoring balance, improving function, and supporting long-term wellness.
He is particularly dedicated to helping patients experiencing chronic pain, neurological conditions, and post-injury challenges through compassionate, natural, and clinically grounded care.
