Hello!

I'm Liangyue (Willa) Wang, a Chemistry majored Ph.D. Candidate at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).

At UCSD, I study electrostatic interactions in Michael Gilson Lab. My thesis work is on improving the electrostatic response in classical models to study molecular systems. A key focus of my research is bridging the gap between fixed-charged electrostatic models and polarizable force fields in an affordable and transferable fashion. My research work involves a large number of parallel calculations and data management, so I have enjoyed experimenting with distributed and cloud computing to manage my research data.
