A co-operative party game that challenges players to work together to get as much as score as possible!
This game won 3rd for Game Design, 3rd for Audio and 2nd for Level Design at Game Republic!
Worked as a, Gameplay Designer, Project Manager.
Gameplay Design (3rd Place at Game Republic) Outcomes
Helped create and refine new mechanics.
Planned multiple public and private play tests, analysing data for future development. (Data sets ranged from 10-40 testers).
Used SPSS to make graphs, to analyse and then prepare future goals.
Collaborating with both art and code departments to design both stable and high quality systems.
Continuously tested mechanics, scenes and more to ensure a lack of bugs and consistent quality.
Team Leadership Outcomes
Communicated with the entire team, helping with roles and task allocation using excel, Click-up.
Used Excel to create a time overview, helping plan weeks of workload.
Pitched in multiple presentations to the whole class, achieving high grades for organisation and public speaking skills.
Helped develop scope for long term development.
Worked closely with music producers outside to develop and scope music development.
Unity
Play The Game (In Browser):
A simple browser game aimed at casual and competitive players. Goal to survive as long as possible.
Worked as Co-Creator. Main goals to create a simple browser game in Unity.
Outcomes
Learned basics of Unity and C#.
Created aesthetic style through knowledge of Post Process and Particles systems.
Learned how to publish in browser games.
Created a fun experience, keeping in line with adequate challenge and reward design techniques.
Unreal Engine 5
Play The Game(Download):
An innovative prototype to allow fully blind individuals play. You play as a blind samurai, taught to fight using your senses.
Worked as Sole Creator. Main goals were to design a blind friendly prototype.
Design Outcomes
Used outdoor microphone to record and edit my own sounds.
Researched blindness to help design around target audience.
Designed a friendly and innovative control scheme to help accommodate to any blind individual.
Designed full scenes using 3D sound and events.
Designed a full cut scene by manipulating player movement and editing SFX.
Worked closely with voice actors to create an interesting backstory and an enemy character.
Refining and making voice lines for the best execution.
A plugin used within Unreal Engine using Niagara. Allows for near infinite firework's by allowing users to easily change multiple parameters and add to data tables for large shows.
Technical Outcomes
Created beginner friendly variables to manipulate particles.
Created a data table for fast production of firework shows.
Created materials, including smoke which interacts to light.
Took into account efficiency and create options to features that take up computing power (for low end machines.)
