About Me

I am a Tamarkin Assistant Professor at Brown University (July 2024-Present). My postdoc mentor is Tom Goodwillie. I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota, supervised by Tyler Lawson. Before that, I studied math and philosophy at Lawrence University.

My research interests are in homotopy theory, broadly construed, but so far most of my "work" has concerned various aspects of trace methods.

Together with Ethan Dlugie, I organize the Geometry & Topology Seminar at Brown University. Click here for a schedule.

From 2021-2024 I was an organizer of the Talbot Workshop. If you are a graduate student in homotopy theory, I would strongly recommend attending!
