Born and raised in Portland, Oregon by Canadian parents, I completed my bachelor's degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. During my undergraduate years my primary research focus was the sociology of built environments, specifically the ways in which housing and business infrastructure transformed over time in Vancouver.
Initially after my graduation, I found employment as a freelance audio engineer in the Los Angeles entertainment industry. However in 2023, after much thought, I decided to return to my passion for spatial and environmental analysis and upgrade my skillset by enrolling in UCLA Extension's GIS Certificate program. I have thoroughly enjoyed the process of learning GIS and I am happy with my decision.
I look forward to using my GIS skills to become a valuable team member in the workplace, and I am grateful for any opportunities to prove my aptitude!
