Yangmu Li is an associate professor at Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Guest Associate Editor of Science Bulletin, handling Condensed Matter Physics and Quantum Sciences. He obtained his Ph. D. degree at the University of Minnesota, USA, and performed postdoctoral research at Brookhaven National Laboratory, USA.
Yangmu’s research work focused on superconductivity, magnetism, and quantum sensing, and he performed research at large scientific facilities in America, China, France, Canada, and Japan. He published over 40 research articles (> 20 in Phys. Rev. journals and > 10 in Nature and Science family journals), which were reported/highlighted by scientific media, including AAAS EurekAlert, Phys.org, ScienceDaily, Materials Today, and Superconductor Week. He is a frequent reviewer of research articles for approximately 15 journals, including Phys. Rev., Nature, and Science family journals, and he is a scientific reviewer for research proposals at Spallation Neutron Source & High Flux Isotope Reactor, USA and J-PARC accelerator, Japan. He was a session-chair/organizer of large scientific conferences, including American Physical Society (APS) March Meeting, Chinese Physical Society (CPS) Fall Meeting, and China National Conference on Superconductivity.
