Description: The presenter will examine the challenges therapists encounter working with LGBT patients. Some of the challenges include: understanding the multidimensional and fluidity of sexual orientation and gender, how to apply such understanding to clinical work, and how to increase therapist awareness of our own homophobia, heterosexism, biphobia, and transphobia.
