Doubles Round Robin (RR) Play Rules
Matches consist of two 11-point games. Each player will play WITH and AGAINST the other players in their flight.
The serve rotates every two points.
Each game ends when one of the teams wins the 11th point (no need to win by two points).
First game: Before starting, the first player listed on the score-slip hides the ball in their left or right hand under the end of the table. If the other team picks the correct hand with the ball, they serve, otherwise, the player hiding the ball team serves. The serving team picks their server, and the receiving team can pick which player receives.
Second game: The teams change ends to the other end of the table and the team who served first in the first game, receives first this time. The serving team can pick who serves first, however, they must serve to the receiver that did not receive their serve in the first game.
After the matches are finished, players record their game scores on score-slips and one of them returns the slip to the ladder captain.
For each ladder event, the results and standings are based on the number of WINS. When there’s a tie, the tiebreaker is the highest number of POINTS won.
