- Rehearse in class; practice at home. Come to class prepared.
- Working on homework or reading during rehearsal deters from the music making. Rehearsal is the time for each member to learn other parts across the ensemble.
- No cell phones in rehearsal or performance. Leave them silenced and in your bag—not on your stand.

- Be on time and ready for group warm-up 5 minutes after the bell. This is your time to use the bathroom, get some water, ect., before class.
- Be respectful.
- Always come prepared with your instrument, music, pencil, mutes, and instrument maintenance products (valve oil, slide oil, cork grease, cleaning rod and cloth, ect…)
- No food, gum, or drink in class. (Water in sealable containers is ok.)
- Go to the bathroom before rehearsal (because that is what musicians do).
- If you absolutely need to go to the bathroom, fill out the digital bathroom form when leaving and returning. Two students can be gone at a time. This helps me know where people are in the event of an emergency.
- Being in the presence of, consuming/use, possession, being under the influence of, and distribution of alcohol or other controlled substances at or before any school sponsored event is strictly prohibited. This includes possession of drug paraphernalia. If a student violates this section of the code of conduct the following consequences will be enforced:
