Hi! My name is Madison Carter, and I am the TOPS University counselor for the class of 2028. I am originally from Abbeville, Louisiana, but today I call Lafayette home. I earned my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Counseling at the University of Louisiana at Monroe online and will graduate in May 2026! 

My goal as a school counselor is to empower students to recognize their strengths, overcome challenges, and pursue meaningful academic and personal growth. My purpose is to create a supportive, inclusive environment where every student feels seen, valued, and equipped to succeed.
