On March 6, 2021, Lawrence High School's Green Action Team put on our first-ever virtual Green Fair. For the first hour, visitors explored breakout sessions with presentations and activities related to environmental science and sustainable living. Then, we screened and discussed a series of short films. These described some of the challenges our planet is facing, and the innovative solutions engineers, farmers, artists, and entrepreneurs around the world are developing in response.
We were sorry not to be able to hold the fair in person. However, the good news is that the digital materials we created for the virtual fair are still accessible. We have collected them here, so they can be enjoyed by those who weren't able to attend or would like to revisit some of the offerings.
Below, you'll find some of the promotional materials we created to publicize the event. Next, hop over to Breakout Sessions to explore our activities and presentations. Finally, visit the Film Festival page. Here, you can watch all of the videos we enjoyed together during the fair. But unfortunately, you'll miss out on the probing commentary! For that, you'll just have to wait for next year's Green Fair. Follow @lhs_gat on Instagram to stay in the loop!
