Read the story of your choice from your recommended level, highlight cognates, and complete the comprehension questions. When you are finished with that story turn it in, then determine if you need to go down a level, stay the same, or if you're ready to advance a level.

Remember to use pictures, cognates, and context to help you understand the story! If you work with a friend you may ask each other for clarification regarding specific words but do NOT translate out loud-- you'll steal your partner's opportunity to learn and grow.
