RETURN TO SCHOOL 5 DAYS!
• Start the day with a healthy breakfast.
• Maintain normal routines where possible by creating consistent and achievable routines. Ensure regular breaks are accounted for throughout the day.
• Set up a learning space for your child in the house that is free from distractions, being mindful of each other if sharing spaces.
• Speak to your child about your expectation for them to complete set work to the best of their ability – this is in line with the school’s expectation of students.
• Take it slowly. This is a big adjustment for everyone in the family.
• Keep up to date with communication from the school and teachers. Parent portal will contain updates when necessary.
• Ensure (where requested) that you have access to your child’s designated learning platforms.
• Encourage physical activity (minimum 20 minutes) and mindfulness each day.
• Monitor the amount of time spent online.

interactions. The school will also be providing opportunities for children to stay connected with their peers.
• Talk about your child’s day.

• Support each other – remember you can also access support through school including counsellors, year advisers and teachers.
