My classroom management plan is designed to create a proactive and supportive environment that encourages positive behavior, engagement, and a safe environment. My plan is to implement a tiered incentive system where students can earn individual rewards for meeting goals, such as completing assignments on time or participating actively in class discussions. These individual incentives, which might include extra credit or small privileges, will be awarded weekly to motivate consistent effort. Additionally, I will introduce class incentives, such as a reward system where the entire class can earn points toward a fun activity or special event when we reach certain behavioral or academic milestones. I will explain the plan to my students through a presentation on the first day of class, using examples and visuals to illustrate how they can earn rewards. To keep parents and administrators informed, I will send home a letter outlining the plan, including how it aligns with our educational goals, and provide regular updates through newsletters or parent-teacher meetings to share our progress and celebrate successes.

Goal Setting: At the beginning of each 6 weeks, the entire class will collaborate to come up with five or more specific goals that they would like to achieve. These goals can focus on participation, respect, responsibility, collaboration, and kindness within the classroom.
Earning Points: For each goal that the class meets by the end of the week, they will earn one point.
Redeem points: If the class achieves a score of 90 points or more over the course of the 6 weeks, they will earn a "class day". On this day, students will decide on a theme to celebrate their hard work and achievements together. This could include activities, games, or other fun options related to the chosen theme.
