The partnership between the sub-Local Governance Resource Centers (LGRC) of the Province of AuroraΒ - βTambuliβ and Province of Camarines Norte β βBantayogβ, the first collaboration of its kind, was formalized through a Ceremonial Signing of Memorandum of Understanding and Joint Undertaking on October 16, 2023. This is in line with the Celebration of Local Government Month this October 2023 and to continually promote a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, utilization, and support in sustaining the gains in promoting excellence in local governance.
The Partnership between the sub-LGRRCs is envisioned to be a venue to:Β
Promote and foster various kinds of collaboration in the area of knowledge management on the basis of mutual respect and clear recognition of mandates and acknowledgement of each otherβs comparative advantage;
Exchange relevant strategies, data and information on areas of common interest subject to the partiesβ existing undertakings and applicable government disclosure policies;
Conduct regular knowledge exchange activities to promote the culture of knowledge sharing;
Share available Pool of Experts for possible mobilization in any capacity building activities to be conducted by both parties, subject to the internal policies of both parties; and
Visit LGUs from both provinces for benchmarking of best practices and other capacity development activities.
