A day of learning, experimenting, and capturing the intensity of motorsport at Clark International Speedway. Through the guidance of Sir Matthew Romualdez, I put new techniques into practice while experiencing different camera and lens setups, including the Sony A7R V with a 200–600mm and the Tamron 70–180mm F2.8.

More than just photographing fast cars, the workshop taught me to anticipate the action, find compelling angles, and capture the people and stories behind the race. Frames of Speed was an unforgettable step in my journey to becoming a better motorsports photographer.

Endurance racing is more than speed and horsepower. It is about the drivers, mechanics, and crew who work together through every challenge—from mechanical issues and tire wear to fatigue and changing track conditions.

Every lap tests their focus and determination. What matters most is the ability to adapt, keep fighting, and never give up until the final lap.

The car may cross the finish line, but it is the people behind it who make the journey possible.

This is endurance racing. This is teamwork. This is the will to finish.

WEKFEST JAPAN 2026 

A Celebration of Automotive Culture  

Attending Wekfest Japan 2026 in Aichi, Nagoya last May was a dream come true as a car enthusiast. Seeing incredible builds up close gave me a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship, creativity, and dedication behind every project.

Beyond the cars, the community and culture made the experience even more special. It was inspiring to see enthusiasts from around the world—and fellow Filipino car vloggers and content creators—sharing the same passion and representing the Philippine car scene internationally.

Wekfest Japan was more than just a car show. It was an experience that left me inspired, motivated, and even more passionate about automotive culture and the stories behind every build.

F1 EXPERIENCE 

It was a surreal moment for us to finally set foot inside an F1 race circuit—something you rarely get to experience in a lifetime. Seeing the race up close was an unforgettable experience, and there was just so much to take in. We were simply soaking in every sound, every sight, and every moment.

Being behind the camera was challenging, though, with limited access and very few clear angles to capture an F1 car. But despite the challenges, it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Hopefully, this won’t be our last F1 race. We hope to be back again someday.
