The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 10, through the Local Government Regional Resource Center (LGRRC), recognizes the importance of Knowledge Management as a vital strategy in improving organizational performance and service delivery. A strong knowledge management system ensures that valuable information, skills, and best practices are properly identified, shared, and utilized within the organization.
In support of this, the Local Government Monitoring and Evaluation Division (LGMED) introduced LGMED i-Share, a knowledge-sharing initiative designed to promote employee-to-employee learning and continuous capability development. The program serves as a platform where personnel can share expertise, insights, and lessons learned from trainings, seminars, and other official engagements, while also providing opportunities to learn from colleagues and invited resource speakers.
Through this initiative, LGMED aims to enhance the competencies of its personnel, foster collaboration, and strengthen the Division’s overall effectiveness in delivering its mandates.
To strengthen the Knowledge Management System of the Department through a structured platform for knowledge-sharing, learning, and collaboration among employees.
To enhance the competencies, skills, and expertise of LGMED personnel in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
To provide an avenue for employees to share learnings, best practices, and insights gained from trainings, seminars, and other official activities attended.
To promote employee-to-employee learning and encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the Division.
To supplement internal learning initiatives by engaging resource speakers or subject matter experts, whenever necessary, to address specialized topics.
To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery through increased access to relevant knowledge, tools, and practical skills.
