The Department of the Interior and Local Government – Region 10, through the Local Government Regional Resource Center (LGRRC) – 10, has always put a premium on Knowledge Management within the organization. This ensures that there is a systematic process that involves the identification, acquisition, retention, retrieval, and distribution of organizational knowledge assets.
In line with this, the Local Government Monitoring and Evaluation Division (LGMED) introduces an avenue for knowledge-sharing dubbed “LGMED iShare”. This knowledge-sharing mechanism primarily focuses on the employee-to-employee approach to foster the dissemination of information, expertise, and skills essential to performing their respective duties and responsibilities. In addition, this will also serve as an avenue for employees to share knowledge and skills gained from outside training and activities wherein they served as representatives of the Division or the Regional Office.
Through this initiative, employees within the Division are allowed to share necessary knowledge, as well as learn from their fellow colleagues. Further, the Division may also opt to outsource speakers whenever necessary to cover learning activities outside the expertise of the Division’s personnel.
