Background

IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE DIRECTIVE OF THE SENATE COMMITTEE ON ELECTORAL REFORMS AND COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION, ALL FIELD OFFICERS ARE RESPECTFULLY REQUESTED TO REMIND THE BARANGAYS AND PUNONG BARANGAYS IN THE ISSUANCE OF BARANGAY CERTIFICATION/BARANGAY CERTIFICATE OF RESIDENCY FOR PURPOSES OF VOTERS REGISTRATION OR TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION. PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHED ADVISORY FOR REFERENCE

BARANGAYS ARE TO SUBMIT DATA/REPORT ON THE NUMBER OF BARANGAY CERTIFICATES/BARANGAY CERTIFICATES OF RESIDENCY THAT WERE ISSUED FOR PURPOSES OF VOTER’S REGISTRATION AND/OR TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION IN 2024 (JANUARY TO DECEMBER 2024) ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 10 AND MONTHLY REPORTS THROUGH THE AFOREMENTIONED LINK, ON OR BEFORE THE 10TH DAY OF THE ENSUING MONTH

Update

Monitoring activities, data gathering, and submission of monthly reports on the issuance of barangay certificates of residency are deferred until further notice.

All DILG field officers are directed to prioritize assistance to LGUs affected by natural calamities, including providing technical support to ensure continuous delivery of basic services.
