As a designated LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leader on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Healthcare Equality Index (HEI), we are committed to offering LGBTQ+ patients, and their families quality cancer care. We provide access to sexual health clinics, cervical and anal cancer screenings, and tobacco cessation, with social workers available to help navigate all available resources for LGBTQ+ patients and visitors.
It is our goal through purposeful and intentional assessment, program planning, resource allocation, and evaluation activities to optimize and enhance the workforce infrastructure. Our leadership has committed to a purpose-driven strategic partnership approach to align with best practices across the organization. Broadly, our plan will enhance and expand infrastructure to increase the participation of individuals from groups historically underrepresented in the research workforce, which includes trainees, faculty, research staff, and center leadership.
