Letters for Rose is an international organization with over 400 chapters that have regularly sent handwritten letters and artwork to local nursing homes. This website is for the chapter located in Westfield, Massachusetts.
There are multiple ways you can get involved! We offer the opportunity to just volunteer, or join a club for Westfield High School students. Plus, there are events and other projects you can get involved in.

We just launched a "Letter Blitz" at the Westfield High School, so we are expected to deliver approximately 400 letters in May 2023, bringing our total to nearly 2,500.
No, you don't! While we encourage volunteers to write as often as possible (there are real benefits!), it's perfectly okay to join our chapter and volunteer every few months.
The Letters for Rose Club is an organized group of students at WHS that meet monthly to do special activities, plan events, and write letters to nursing homes. Club members may receive graduation cords, but have club dues and an attendance policy to abide by.
The Westfield Chapter is simply a name for all volunteers who have contributed to any of our rounds.
