-IN LOVING MEMORY -
Marie-Pierre Daba Diouf
November 8th 2010 - October 10th 2025
Marie-Pierre, fondly known as MP, was born on the 8th of November and passed away on the 10th of October, she was a remarkable and incredible student at Lycée Français Marcel Pagnol D’Abuja who's presence brought light , kindness, and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her beautiful soul .
From a young age, Marie-Pierre stood out for her confidence, compassion, her kindness and generosity towards everyone, her curiosity and hard work in anything she was doing, as well as her sense of humor. She was known among friends, best friend and classmates for always offering a helping hand, brightening the room with a smile, or standing up for others, her confidence helped everyone and so did her kindness towards others. All her teachers remember her not just for her academic effort, but for her genuine love of learning, all her focus and determination in school and respect for others.
At LFMPA, Marie-Pierre was involved in clubs, sports, arts, volunteer work, such as the
“Club de communication”, “Model United Nations”, “Theatre”, “Conseil de vie collégienne » where she was an active participant, she was also class president for 3 consecutive years, where she consistently demonstrated leadership, dedication, she helped everyone, as well she always stood up for them and had a beautiful heart. Whether it was staying late after school, tutoring younger students, leading the MUN head of training in French, Marie-Pierre gave it everything, always with determination and grace.
Beyond school walls, Marie-Pierre had a rich life full of interests and incredible dreams. She loved napping after school, eating, writing in her journal on her iPad, and had hopes of becoming a diplomat while advocating for woman’s rights, she wanted to travel the world, studying history. Those who knew her best speak of her thoughtfulness, her ability to listen, and her way of making others feel seen and heard.
Though Marie-Pierre’s time with us was far too short, the impact she made for each and every one of us will remain forever. The loss is profound, but so is the legacy: a legacy of love, kindness, laughter, and courage. In every hallway echo, every classroom memory, and every heart Marie-Pierre touched, her spirit continues to live on.
She is deeply missed by her family members, cherished by friends and teachers, and remembered with unending love by the entire LFMPA community.
As we reflect on her life, may we be inspired to live with the same kindness, passion, and heart that she showed every day.
Dedicating this page to her allows us to honor her, and remember her through her happiest moments with friends.
