In a world where injustice persists and power so often belongs to the few, we cannot afford to let debate become a performance. Dialogue must be more than the art of convincing—it must be the seed of transformation. At LFIKMUN, I have always believed that our work should reflect this conviction. As Secretary-General, I tried to embody it in practice by instituting democracy within our own club. Decisions were no longer handed down from above; they were opened to all members, regardless of position or seniority. This was not a symbolic gesture but a commitment to prove that collective voices are stronger than individual authority.
Our slogan, “from words to actions,” speaks to this same spirit. Words can inspire outrage, hope, or solidarity—but they must lead somewhere, or else they remain empty. By grounding our debates in principles of equality and justice, and by practicing those values inside our community, we take a small but meaningful step toward the world we demand: one where power is shared, where solidarity replaces competition, and where justice is not only debated but lived.

As Deputy Secretary-General of this year’s Model United Nations, it is my honor to welcome you to a conference where diplomacy meets purpose. Our theme, “From Words to Actions,” reflects the very essence of what MUN stands for. In every resolution drafted, every negotiation held, and every speech delivered, we are reminded that meaningful change begins with ideas — but it does not end there. Through collaboration, empathy, and leadership, we transform those ideas into tangible actions that echo far beyond the conference hall.
Together with the Secretariat and the Board, my role is to ensure that every aspect of this conference runs seamlessly, so that this MUN becomes our most impactful one yet; and it is a privilege to do so.
Because to me, Mun is more than simulating global debates, it’s about forming young, politically-aware, confident and resilient future leaders; who know how to take responsibility and make change in a world full of challenges.

It is an honor to serve as the Deputy Secretary-General of LFIKMUN. For me, Model UN is more than just debating — it is a way to learn about teamwork, important global matters, and how ideas can lead to real action. My goal is that every member becomes a more confident and more mature person at the end of the conference, knowing that debating and discussing a topic isn’t the whole part and taking action is what’s important.
In my role, I help train delegates, organize meetings and conferences, and work closely with the Secretary-General and the team to make sure everyone is included in the club’s decisions. I also make sure our events go smoothly so everyone can focus on the important topics we discuss.
I want LFIKMUN to be a place where everyone feels included, where people help each other improve, and where every voice is heard.

It’s a funny story. I started my MUN journey in 6th grade at this very conference. Back then, I was nervous and had no idea what I was doing to be honest.
Slowly, I began speaking up, making mistakes, and learning from them. Each debate gave me more confidence and pushed me to do better.
Over time, MUN became more than just an activity. It became a place where I could grow, challenge myself, and meet amazing people.
And today, I’m proud to say I’m part of the executive board of the same conference where it all began.

After last year’s wonderful experience as a Head of Delegates, I am thrilled to continue on in that position, using my hard-earned knowledge and maturity to make this an amazing MUN. The lessons I’ve learned, about leadership, collaboration, and organisation, have only deepened my commitment to this role. I’m excited to build on that foundation and help create an environment where every delegate feels empowered to contribute meaningfully.
Serving as Head of Delegates in Model United Nations is more than just a title, it’s a powerful opportunity to turn ideals into impact. MUN has always been a transformative experience for me, shaping my confidence and helping me understand that using your voice to advocate for change is not just a privilege, but a responsibility.
In this role, I’ve had the honour to stand beside my team to help guide, organise, and support our fellow delegates as they prepare to tackle global challenges together. I’ve had the chance to engage in meaningful cultural exchanges, explore diverse perspectives, and help unite voices from across the world in the pursuit of solutions to global issues.
This role is the embodiment of our core belief: “From words to actions,” as we transform discussion into diplomacy and ideas into impact.

Model United Nations is more than a conference; it is a transformative experience that fosters dialogue, cultural exchange, and global awareness. Stepping into the role of Head of Creativity and Design for the first time has allowed me to channel my passion for innovation into shaping the identity of our MUN. Guided by our slogan “From Words to Actions”, I strive to ensure that every design element reflects the proactive and activist spirit of our conference, creating an atmosphere where delegates feel inspired to turn debate into meaningful impact.
This journey has also taught me the value of teamwork. Working closely with the Secretariat, the Executive Board, and my fellow deputy, I have come to realize that creativity is strongest when shared. Together, we aim to make this MUN not only visually memorable, but also a space where ideas lead to real change and connections that transcend borders.

It’s a privilege to serve as the Head of Media, Communications, and Press at LFIKMUN. For me, Model UN isn’t just about debating — it’s also about connecting people, sharing ideas, and expressing the values behind every discussion. Through media and communication, I aim to capture the essence of our conference and make sure every delegate’s effort and voice are represented.
In my role, I oversee our social media platforms, manage press coverage, and work closely with the team to keep everyone informed and engaged. I also help ensure that LFIKMUN’s image reflects the professionalism, creativity, and teamwork that define our club.
I want LFIKMUN to be more than just a conference — a space where ideas are seen, heard, and shared, and where every member feels proud of what we create together.
-Mira Mansour
The United Nations was created on October 24, 1945, by 51 nations who dreamed of a world united by peace and understanding. For me, M.U.N. isn’t just a school activity — it’s a place where that same dream comes alive. When I step into a conference, I feel part of something bigger: people my age coming together, debating, listening, and learning to build a better world. It’s inspiring to realize that every speech, every idea, every resolution we create could one day shape the real world. M.U.N. makes me believe that our generation truly has the power to change things.
