Fundraising is an integral part of keeping participation costs low while also meeting the demands of the competition level involvement. As a Lindy family there are no shortage of fundraising opportunities, all of which are designed for varying levels of participation at each families comfort level with the goal of supporting the costs associated with running a dance team.
Raffle Tickets: Towards the end of the season each family is given a packet of raffle tickets to sell. The drawing is held at our annual Burger Basket night in April. With only 225 tickets sold, and a grand prize of $7,000 (plus many more) this is always a hit! This is our biggest fundraising opportunity and allows us to donate a large portion of the teams uniform costs each year.
Burger Basket Night: Guests purchase burger baskets, with proceeds going towards the purchase of new uniforms. We also hold our annual raffle drawing during this event.
Souvenir Program: Coming back for 2026! Family, friends and community members purchase advertising space in our souvenir program, shared during our Community Show. All proceeds go towards the purchase of new uniforms. Click here to see the 2025 program!
Garage Sale: Typically held during Royalton's Garage Sale days- a great way to get rid of some of your gently used household goods and clothes for a good cause!
Egg My Yard: Individuals can sign up to have the girls hide eggs around their yard the night before Easter. They can even upgrade to have a picture of the Easter Bunny hiding the eggs sent to them! Funds go directly to the team
Cub Food Grocery Bagging: The girls can sign up for time slots to help bag groceries and CUB foods. Money earned goes into the dancers "individual account" with the team and can be used towards camps and other dance team fees.
Summer Kids Clinic: K-6th: Held annually, the kids clinic is a team fundraiser. Dancers are expected to volunteer and help run the event, and do not need to register. Registration for non Lindy's is through community services.
Kettle Corn: Girls sign up to work a 2.5 hour shift (one adult will need to sign up per shift as well) selling the most delicious Kettle Corn at the Little Falls Craft Fair in September. Funds raised go directly to the team.
Invitationals: Some of the performances and competitions that take place during the season are used as fund raisers for the team. We also need a lot of parent volunteers to make these events run smoothly! Stay tuned for more information as these events get closer
