Health & Safety

Our internal policies, processes, and procedures are created and updated in accordance with the latest CDC and Chester County Health Department guidance and recommendations. Collaboration with the CDC and Chester County Health Department ensures that we also include local requirements to guide our decision-making. For the complete CDC guide for childcare, please visit https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/schools-childcare/guidance-for-childcare.html. We appreciate everyone's cooperation to adapt as new information becomes available and a willingness to accept a responsibility in taking necessary steps to protect the children, staff, and families in our program.

Additional procedures will be followed at Little Faces to limit the risk of exposure to COVID-19:

  • Health and safety COVID-19 screening will be done upon arrival.

  • Only children are allowed in the facility. One parent or guardian will remain in the foyer area for drop-off and pick-up, once cleared for entry by an LFCC staff member.

  • Student and staff temperatures will be taken upon arrival, as well as mid-morning and afternoon.

  • Anyone with a temperature above 100.4 or higher or showing symptoms of illness will not be permitted to attend our childcare program.

    • Children must stay fever-free for 48 hours with no additional symptoms, such as shortness of breath, fatigue, or sore throat.

  • Children will stay in the same cohort of peers and staff.

  • Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the center.

  • LFCC staff will make sure students practice social distancing throughout the day and adhere to CDC guidelines.
