Le Xuan Chan 陈乐轩
Hello! I'm Le Xuan, and I am a linguist and phonetician.
I am a second-year PhD student in Linguistics at the University of Pennsylvania, where I am affiliated with the Penn Phonetics Lab, the Language Variation and Cognition Lab, and the Language Contact and Cognition Lab.
Before coming to Penn, I completed my MA in Linguistics at the National University of Singapore and BA in Linguistics at International Christian University, Tokyo.
As someone who grew up in a multilingual context (Malaysia), my interests are centered around the various aspects of multilingual speech production and perception. This includes examining multilingual speech from acoustic, articulatory, and variationist approaches.
You can find out more about my research here. Feel free to contact me at lxchan [at] sas.upenn.edu!
