Music connects universally, changing moods as quickly as people do emotions. The universal sound of experienced producer Lex transcends sub-genres, as proven by the wide variety of artistry the has shared collaborative efforts with. Originally from the San Fernando Valley, Lex began his career in music production in 1999. While working with another young artist by the name of Johnny Five, Lex was recognized by Jason Anderson of the television network BET. After only two years of producing, the young beat maker had became an intern at one of the biggest televised music networks.

Soon after his year long internship, Lex was encouraged to attend LARS, the Los Angeles Recording School. After attending the institute, Lex started a family and continued to make music by starting a hip-hop band, which performed at the Key Club multiple times. after that was unsuccessful Lex began working with rapper Young Kasper and IEME, when he was fortunately introduced to another creative by the alias Hollow Visions. The two quickly began working together and introducing one another to like minded musicians. Through Hollow, Lex met the entirety of EOTR, East of the River, and has made waves in the music industry with a myriad of artist to create with.

Lex’s variety of styles is exemplified through his work with EOTR. From boom bap banger's such as Hollow Visions’ “Building Blocks,” featuring Don’t Sleep! And Mad Macks, to his more mainstream upbeat sound conveyed in Viva Mescal’s collaborative work with Kiddo “Agua Fresca.” With notable works in his discography, such as Hollow Visions 2018 LP “Homecoming,” the talented producer still has a hunger for growth. 2019 brings a collaborative project with fellow EOTR members Viva Mescal "Freeway Dreams", highly anticipated work with long time collaborator Hollow Visions and his first installment of his beat tape series "MPK.Vibez Vol 1".

2020 has been rough but Lex has been working hard by producing and released Sertified's "More Chance" project, "MPK.Vibez Vol 2" off his beat tape collection and a couple more projects for the end of the year. LEx Presents Series and another MPK.Vibez series are in the works to drop in 2020
