Lexis Trechak is a New Jersey-based performer and content creator, recently appeared Off-Broadway at the Players Theater as Sally in Maddie: A New Musical. She holds a B.A. in Speech, Language & Hearing with a Dance Studies minor and an American Sign Language certificate from Temple University.
Lexis’s love for dance kicked in as soon as she could walk—or more accurately, wobble around in sparkly tap shoes. She grew up training in just about every style imaginable (ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, musical theater—you get the idea) at Yvonne’s School of Dance, where she basically spent more time at the barre than at home.
Since then, she’s taken her jazz hands on the road, performing across the country two times on the national tour of Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas as Betty Lou Who. Other favorite credits include SpongeBob the Musical, Spamalot, Godspell, Seussical, and A Chorus Line—which means she’s danced as a fish, a knight, a Whoville resident, and everything in between.
In 2024, Lexis tore her ACL—an unexpected challenge that taught her a lot about patience, healing, and just how much she truly loves what she does. After a year of recovery and rehab, she came back stronger and more determined than ever to keep doing what she loves: performing, creating, and connecting through movement.
Online, Lexis gives a behind-the-scenes peek into her wonderfully chaotic performer life, sharing comedy skits, POVs, and more with her 1.4 million TikTok followers and 165K on Instagram. She’s teamed up with brands like DoorDash, Coca-Cola, Trident, Wendy’s, Cricut, HP, Dance the Magic, Discount Dancewear, and more—basically dancing her way into ad campaigns one pirouette at a time.
Whether she’s on stage, online, or in rehearsal with an Owala in hand, Lexis is all about spreading joy, supporting fellow artists, and keeping it real every step of the way.
