Founder and Board President
Rebecca founded Lexington Pride in 2023 after leading the pride committee for Pride A|T 202. She is a local to Lexington and felt inspired to create Lexington Pride after experiencing how welcoming Sylva, North Carolina, was to their LGBTQIA+ community.
Known to her friends as Bek, she has a three-year-old golden doodle and a 4-month-old kitten. She loves spending time outside, recently bought her first house, and is a volunteer firefighter.

Traci has always had a passion for public service with a combined 2 decades of experience in Law Enforcement, EMS, and Firefighting. During which, Traci also served 8 years as a combat medic in the NC Army National Guard. Traci's love for serving people has led her to her current career as a patient advocate, as well as the Co-Chair for the Pride Business resource group at Novant Health, a member of the Executive Board for the Rowan County Family Crisis Council, and a volunteer for the Novant Health hospice team.
Traci is very excited to be a member of the Lexington NC Pride organization. She looks forward to bringing events and awareness for the LGBTQ+ community to this wonderful city.
