August 2026 Board Meeting Quick Hits

• Interior painting is done in 15 of the 24 buildings. You will be contacted by Sheryl Jahnel (LGAII Treasurer) prior to Marcie's Interiors starting work. 

• SMOKE ALARMS - We are aware of the the need to replace the smoke detectors in the common areas. These are 10-year devices. We're currently getting guidance from the City and Heritage on managing the replacement of 96 detectors. Hope to be fully replaced weekend of August 22nd, 2026.

• No dues increase for the 2026-27 FY.

• As a reminder, we're all collective owners of these properties. Any and all maintenance calls, landscaping demands, and other small  requests add up and cost the association money and in turn cost you money. We have a healthy reserve allocation, but large expenses are coming to a head (retaining wall, finishing common area painting, etc). If we want to keep dues at a reasonable price, please consider "doing it yourself" if it's not too bothersome and you're physically able.
