Lexably respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect through the Lexably mobile app and related services (“Services”), how we use it, and your choices. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Parents or guardians should review and approve use by children.
Account and profile data: name or nickname, email (if provided), learning preferences, daily goal settings.
Usage and progress data: completed exercises, scores, streaks, goals, journal entries, and in-app actions needed to operate the app.
Device and technical data: device model, OS version, app version, language, IP address, and crash/diagnostic logs.
Purchase data: subscription and in-app purchase status provided by Apple.
Notifications: whether you enable push notifications.
Ads and analytics: identifiers for advertising and analytics from Apple and other service providers.
Sync and storage: if you enable iCloud or other sync, your data may be stored in your iCloud account in addition to local device storage.
Provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including personalized exercises and goals.
Process transactions, manage subscriptions, and verify purchase status.
Sync data across devices through iCloud when enabled.
Send push notifications for reminders and updates (you may disable these anytime).
Monitor performance, fix bugs, and secure the Services.
Display ads where applicable and measure ad performance consistent with App Store policies.
Comply with legal requirements and protect our rights and users.
Service providers: vendors supporting analytics, cloud storage, crash reporting, customer support, and advertising under confidentiality obligations.
Apple and App Store: purchase and device information may be processed by Apple to complete transactions and enforce App Store rules.
Legal compliance: information may be disclosed to comply with law, enforce Terms, or protect rights, safety, and property.
Business transfers: if Lexably is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user information may be transferred under this Policy.
Data is stored on your device and, if enabled, in your iCloud account. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data, but no system is perfectly secure.
We retain data as long as needed to operate the Services, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
You may delete local data by uninstalling the app; iCloud data can be removed in your Apple settings.
Update or delete local data in the app settings where available.
Control push notifications through device settings.
Opt out of personalized ads using your device’s advertising preferences where supported.
Request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing lexablyapp@gmail.com. Identity verification may be required.
The Services are rated 4+ on the App Store and may be used by children with parent or guardian supervision.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent where required by law.
Parents or guardians should review this Policy and manage the child’s use of the app, including iCloud sync, notifications, and advertising settings.
Data may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries where service providers operate.
We rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers when legally required.
We may update this Policy periodically. Material updates will be communicated via in-app notice or other reasonable methods.
Continued use after updates indicates acceptance.
