To make getting started as easy as possible, we have partnered with local nursery / grower, 1 Acre of Trees, to offer planting kits for about the price of dinner out with the family. Kits are designed to thrive in common suburban conditions of Middlesex County / Metro Boston and surrounding areas, based on grower-available selections and will be available for pickup in October in Lexington, the optimal planting window.
The kits do not include installation, however, we are exploring options to facility that as well. Please fill out the interest form whether you plan to DIY or seek help with planting.
If you choose to purchase a DIY kit, you will receive an email confirmation with payment info to secure your kit.

The Lexington Habitat Patches Project has been created by LexCAN (Lexington Climate Action Network), It grew out of a pocket forest initiative ecological restoration concept. "Habitat Patches" aims to match implementation and scale with residential needs in both the short and long term.
