Tlhaloso Mpopo (Adv.) is a seasoned legal professional with deep expertise at the intersection of law, business, and technology. She provides strategic guidance on technology policy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, data protection, and AI governance, helping organisations navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape with confidence and compliance.

Guided by a steadfast belief in the fundamental right to privacy, she actively champions ethical and lawful data practices to mitigate emerging cyber risks. An advocate of the Courts of Lesotho, Tlhaloso Mpopo is also an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, reflecting her strong technical foundation in data protection and information security. She is deeply committed to advancing legal technology, promoting document automation and fostering accessible, engaging, and affordable legal services.

As a Tech Policy Fellow (2023) at LawyersHub, she collaborated with global industry leaders to shape innovative regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies. She also served as a Research Group Member at the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Policy (CAIDP), contributing to impactful research on artificial intelligence governance. Tlhaloso Mpopo holds an LLM in Technology Law from Nottingham Trent University, earned as a Chevening Scholar (2024/25)—a milestone that solidifies her role as one of the leading voices shaping the future of technology law and policy in Africa.

Project Manager

Sechaba Keketsi is a project management professional with a multidisciplinary educational background and experience. His rich continuous professional development in artificial intelligence, data protection and project management (CPD) allows him to apply the appropriate project management methodologies and techniques in managing data protection, and artificial intelligence projects at Lex Focus Advisory. 

His passion in project management has seen him curate an interview series titled PM Conversations with Lesotho Project Management professionals and co-build Lesotho’s project management repository titled Projects In Lesotho.

At the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Policy and Lex Focus Advisory, his focus extended to ensuring the ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) and advocating for the adherence of AI systems to democratic values. By championing responsible AI practices, he strives to shape a future where technology serves as a force for good in society.
