I will begin making contact with previous landlord/property managers within a day or two of receiving your completed application and verification form. Once your form is received and rental history verified, then I will be glad to schedule an appointment to show the apartment. NOTE: This is not a credit check ... I am verifying that you have good status with previous landlords.

PLEASE NOTE: If any part of the rental history is unverifiable (i.e. new renter with no history of complying with lease obligations, no phone number given for previous landlord, landlord listed as private owner and individual does not own property, etc.), the application will not be processed until the application is complete and verifiable.
Once satisfactory rental history is verified, I will reach out to you to view the apartment. After viewing the property to make sure it meets your needs, first month's rent plus security deposit is required to enter into a lease agreement for this property. The security deposit will hold the apartment for a short time (max 2 weeks). If moving in other than on the first of the month, we do prorate rent. However, the prorate is given in the second month of occupancy.
I understand that you may want to view the property prior to applying. However, I take applications and approve rental history first to reduce the amount of time I spend showing apartments only to find out that the person does not have a satisfactory history of complying with lease obligations. I make it very simple to apply (electronically) and don't charge a fee. It only takes a day or two for me to check and verify rental references once the application and rental history form is received. As long as your rental history is satisfactory in regard to on time payment and care of property, then I will reach out to you to set an appointment for viewing the property.
