About the Owner

Mike graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1990 with a BBA in Accounting and has been a licensed CPA in the State of Texas since 1992. He has spent his 30+ year accounting career in the oil and gas industry in Houston and Austin, has been employed by both public and private upstream oil and gas companies, has served in various roles of increasing importance and adding value, and is well versed in operational and financial accounting.

In July 2019, Mike formed his own consulting practice to continue serving both public and private upstream oil and gas companies on a consulting basis in CFO, CAO, and Controller roles in order to apply and share his 30+ years of accounting experience across various clients.
