My Focus

Strengthening and growing our community services is essential to supporting the people who call Whitby home. As our community continues to grow, it is important that services; such as police departments, fire department, and emergency service departments, as well as programs, and new infrastructure grow with it to meet the needs of residents of all ages. By investing in recreation, community supports, public spaces, and local resources, we can continue building a connected, welcoming, and thriving community for everyone.

Having our parks, neighbourhoods, and public spaces clean, and welcoming, and safe is something I care deeply about. These are the places where Families gather, kids play, neighbours connect, and our community comes together. By taking pride in our shared spaces and working together to keep them safe, beautiful, and well cared for, we help create a stronger and more welcoming community for everyone to enjoy.

Attracting businesses that help Whitby grow sustainably is important for creating a strong future for our community. Supporting local businesses and welcoming new investment can bring more Jobs, strengthen our local economy, and create opportunities for residents close to home. By focusing on smart and sustainable growth, we can continue building a vibrant community while protecting the character and quality of life that makes Whitby such a great place to live.
