I am a proud mother of two and a long-time resident with deep roots in Whitby. My kids grew up here and graduated from Sinclair Secondary School, and this community has shaped who I am today.
My daughter is a mental health nurse in Whitby, and my son has been actively involved in local sports, playing football in Durham with the Hawkeyes. My family has always been grounded in community, service, and connection.
For over 25 years, I have built a successful career in real estate with Royal LePage Frank Real Estate, earning the Customer Service Award of Excellence. Through my work, I have helped bring new families into our community and supported people through some of the most important moments in their lives. To me, community has always meant family.
I have also dedicated years to giving back to my community. I served on the Terry Fox Planning Committee in Whitby and have volunteered with Ontario Shores alongside Sunshine Therapy Dogs; where my dog, Ruckus, became one of the most requested therapy dogs in Durham.
I am not a career politician; and that’s intentional. I bring real-life experience, a strong connection to the people of Whitby, and a genuine desire to listen and act. I care deeply about this community and want to ensure it continues to grow in a way that supports everyone.
I am running to represent Ward 2, the area highlighted in green, and I am committed to being a strong voice for the residents who call this community home. My focus is on the priorities I have been sharing; keeping our neighbourhoods and public spaces clean and welcoming, supporting the expansion of affordable housing, attracting businesses that grow Whitby sustainably, strengthening community services, and ensuring strong support for our local schools and teachers. Together, these priorities reflect a clear goal: building a safe, vibrant, and thriving community for everyone in Ward 2.
