Welcome to Levant Rec Cheer! We are so excited to have you here. Our program is dedicated to helping young athletes build confidence, teamwork, leadership, and strong cheer skills in a fun and supportive environment.
The Levant Rec Cheer team is made up of children in grades PreK through 5th grade attending Suzanne M. Smith Elementary School and surrounding areas.
Our main season starts in November and runs through until the end of March. We will participate in the Festival of Lights Parade at the beginning of December, a district showcase in February, and for children doing the full season, the Breakthrough Cheer & Tumble Showcase in March.
There are two season options. The short season is from November to February, with participation in the Festival of Lights Parade and the district showcase. The long season is for committed athletes, and participation is decided between parents & coaches. The long season will end with the BCT showcase.
Short Season: Practices are once a week, day & time is TBD
Long Season: Practices are once a week with the short-season cheerleaders until the short season ends. After that, long-season athletes will continue to practice once a week (possibly twice) until the showcase in March.
