Conflict Injustice in various dimensions of life.
I don't think so. Only in moments of immediate crisis does West Papua gain international attention, sadly it is forgotten immediatly thereafter. No one speaks up for the ongoing conflicts. Also, there is no open access to enter West Papua and therefore no access to the truth.
My suggestion is that if international parties really want to be serious about the handling of the conflict in West Papua, there must be an international commitment to resolve ongoing conflicts. If there is no clear commitment, Papuans lose all their rights.
Indonesians do not educate West Papuans for conflict. However, there are certain actions and policies that Papuans do not accept with their hearts towards Indonesia.
West Papuans are not enemies of the Indonesian society, West Papuans are enemies of policies of injustice created by the government for the benefit of officials, so that the rights of Papuans are limited by the policies made.
Indonesia is a sovereign region. West Papua is a part of the Indonesian state. The Indonesian state sees Papua as part of Indonesia, so the Indonesian state treats West Papua the same as other territories.
Papuans are faced with two problems, especially the problem of conflict. The first conflict problem for Papuans is the problem of injustice that West Papuans feel for themselves. The second problem is the problem of injustice policies made by the Indonesian state itself so that all parties feel the injustice of its policies, which creates conflict between the Indonesian government and the Indonesian people.
Not yet. But I feel a discomfort in carrying out my life, for example I feel burdened out because of the discomfort that was created.
Yes!
Papuans are never safe if Indonesia is only interested in Papuan wealth and not for empowering West Papuans.
