After navigate to the book screen, you will see a list of pages uploaded already, or there is no page uploaded.
If the page you have question about is already uploaded, just click that page to navigate to the page. Otherwise, you can add the page, by entering the page # to upload and then click the Add button.
To avoid abuse of data usage, before uploading, the user needs to be signed in and have a verified email (if you use sign in with Google then you automatically have a verified email, currently only Android user can use sign in with Google). After sign in, there is a “Verify email” button at both the Browse and Profile screens.
Each user is initially allowed to upload 10 pages to avoid malicious uploading. You may contact the admin to increase the limit letmeask.app.help@gmail.com.
Once navigate to the page, you will see the book page photo and buttons below the image. Click the first blue button will open an information box with explanation of the usage of the buttons. For example, if the screen is too small to view the full page, you can view one of the four quadrants by clicking the corresponding buttons. You can also click the magnify-plus button to pinch zoom the image.
To add a new question, move the red question icon inside the image to the desired place on the book photo, then click the “add Q” button to open a popup window. You can edit or delete your question before it is answered. But once it is answered by the expert, you can’t delete it by yourself. You may contact the app admin (letmeask.app.help@gmail.com) if you still want it to be deleted. If you delete your own account, the username for that question will change to “Deleted user.” Expert assigned for this book will see if there are unanswered Qs for the book in his or her own profile. You may also send an email reminder by clicking the “mail to” icon next to the username in the expert’s profile page. After expert gives answer, the asker can also comment on the answer, like whether or how well it solves the question.
