How to use the Let Me Ask App

About this app

The purpose of this LetMeAsk app is to empower personalized study (students or readers can initiate questions timely and conveniently) and promote authentic exchange of information (authors or experts can provide answers timely and conveniently).

Install the app

Current version is 1.0.11 (1/26/2025). On Google play store, search the keyword “Let Me Ask”, or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.letmeask.letmeask; on iOS App Store, search “letmeask”, or https://apps.apple.com/us/app/letmeask/id6450612910. Also on web at https://letmeask-e07af.web.app/ , but features relying on native functions like camera and pinch zoom etc are absent.

For mobile app of old versions, in case it doesn't update automatically, can search the keyword again, click the icon, then click update (and then open).

Short description of the app:

Enable book author/expert to answer questions raised by readers on the spot.

Long description of the app:

When a reader has a question on a certain page of the book, he first identifies the book (by entering the ISBN number, or use barcode scanner inside the app), then he takes a photo of the page, taps the location on the photo to enter his question. After the reader submits his question, the author or expert will see the question in his profile and can answer the question right at the spot. This helps the reader get authentic answers he wants, saving his time from searching online not sure whether the answer is correct, and also helps the author to better disseminate knowledge without misunderstanding. The Q&A can be viewed by other readers.
