I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science and Techniques (University of Trieste, 2017) and a Master’s degree in Psychology (University of Trento, 2019), both with the highest honors.
During my studies, I trained in various areas of psychology and mental well-being, including study and internship experiences abroad. I developed a particular interest in cognitive biases in anxiety disorders and emotion regulation strategies, which were the core topics of my bachelor’s and master’s theses, respectively.
After completing my master’s degree, I conducted research on self-perception and cognition at the University of Ghent, also exploring their relationship with autism spectrum disorder.
Since September 2024, I am a licensed psychologist, officially registered with the Belgian Psychologists’ Commission (COMPSY).
Since October 2025, I have been pursuing a postgraduate specialization in Integrative and Humanistic Counseling at the Academy of Integrative and Humanistic Psychology and Psychotherapy (AIHP). I chose this path because I strongly believe in the value of an integrative therapeutic approach, combining methods and perspectives from different schools of thought.
In March 2026, I completed the “ACT for Beginners” training course (Russ Harris – Psychwire), with the aim of integrating the principles and tools of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my practice.
In addition to my work as a psychologist and counselor, I work at MFC Styrka, a VAPH-recognized institution in Ghent supporting children and adolescents with cognitive difficulties and autism.
I continue to refine my professional skills through accredited training courses and volunteer as a therapist at TEJO Ghent, a center providing short-term, free, and anonymous therapy for adolescents and young adults.
