some corners of my bookshelf
My first challenge ever that I can remember is to finish a comic book. At our old house, there is a big bookshelf of various titles from the story of Channel to Lev Tolstoy. However for a child like me back then, they were all boring. Thus, to encourage my reading habit, my dad bought me a Doraemon comic book - Doraemon 8 Knight And The Dragon. I took it as a challenge and finished the 196-page comic in just a week. Since then, my obsession for books bloomed into other genres, which ended up in my current book collection of various types.
Another challenge I encountered was when I wanted to exercise regularly but simply found it impossible to stick to one route at the Main Square like my parents. At first, I tried to change places by walking at the park and the Main Square in turn. Then, I soon realized why not just walk the whole route from the MainSquare to the park. Then came my journey around Pleiku. As I constantly want to see new things, I venture into every alley I found, which sometimes gives me new insights about life there. I also cherish my walk into various cultural villages in the city where the Jrai communal house - nhà Rông stands still with tomb houses statues. Gradually, I feel more attached with my hometown through these walks - just like what I read in “The lost art of reading nature’s signs” by Tristan Gooley.

My effort and hard work
However, the most difficult challenge in my life so far is when I could not overtake my former self in an important competition.
In my second year of joining the Provincial Excellence Competition - an important test that would determine whether I am qualified to represent my province and join the National round, I have failed to achieve the desired result. But what hurted me most at that time was thinking back of my result last year - when I scored higher. This truth has tortured me deeply, causing countless self-doubts about my ability and hardwork.
In the end, when things wind down and I received the news that I can continue to study for the National round, I had much time to reflect and realized that it is the process that I should focus on. As things get harder, my slow progress came as no surprise, thus coming to terms with that fact and appreciating my little step every day would be more empathetic. Being too harsh on myself for the one mistake and ignoring all the hard work behind was unfair. I deemed this period as my self-forgiving process - despite being difficult, it has huge value. It also reconnect me with my old interest about psychology and mental health

Wonderful people around me
Throughout my journey, I had the privilege of meeting and receiving encouragement from many passionate, hardworking and talented individuals.
Thanks to that, I have been able to pull through with meaningful lessons and advices with the belief that "Every challenge is an opportunity for growth"
I realized that understanding, despite sometimes being painstaking and challenging for me, is the bridge that helps me reach my Promised Land, exploring new things and cultivating meaningful relationships. Thus come my plan for the future of building a better Vietnam where understanding between each individuals, especially those from different cultural backgrounds, is cultivated through long-life learning.
With the dynamic environment at Fulbright where the Liberal Art spirit is promoted and encouraged, I believe I can thrive and grow to deepen my understanding through interactive and unique lessons and activities here.
I am determined to aligning my endeavors with Fulbright mission of reshaping Vietnam's future through education.
My interest and aspiration, I believe, will contribute to the ultimate mission of Fulbright of becoming Asia’s educational leader.

"Being friend with Hà for roughly 4 years, I always admire her approach to challenges - constantly exploring new ideas, experimenting with bold strategies, and setting trends for others to follow whether it is a tricky math question or a problem with wrapping Banh Chung. What stands out most is her fearless attitude towards risk.
I once collaborated with her on a small project about running on Facebook. Instead of writing a long caption to introduce essential information as is typically done, she came up with a unique way of conveying knowledge: simplifying complex content into bite-sized pieces and providing informative illustrations.
Hà is also the one who always sees failure as a valuable step toward success. We used to face numerous difficulties in connecting with children when teaching English in a remote area for the first time. Afterward, Hà researched a lot and discovered fun, interactive games that not only help students review but also make the learning process more enjoyable. This positive mindset fuels her pursuit of improvement, making her not only a trend-setter but also a source of inspiration to everyone around her.
In conclusion, Hà brings a sense of joy and innovation to everything she does, and that energy is what I like most about her."

"Having studied with Ha for the past 3 years, I can strongly say that Hai Ha is a professional human-being.
The girl has discipline as well as the champion mentality, she always manages to obtain all of her objectives regardless of the difficulties.
Ha is also an expert when it comes to communicating, she knows how to adjust herself depending on the subjects. She is able to control her mind over her emotions, it's quite rare to see her feelings take on when dealing with problems in the past three years.
I'm also impressed with the fact that she has realistic aims but still leaves room for big ambitions which is becoming an expert about engineering, stemming from her love for Formula 1.
Although she is strict with herself, she has a kind heart for other people. Hai Ha has taken part in many charity works and has brought books and education to a few remote areas in our city. She also joins a team called Vietnam team HBV, together, they have raised people's awareness about protecting their livers.
But for me, her passion for engineering (especially for Formula 1 Car) is the reason why I feel this girl is special, she really invests her time to learn about racing physics. She knows quite well about tyres, hydraulic system, power unit, etc. She also knows how to create strategies using data (lap time, weather,...). She has done a small project about how Max Verstappen got undercut by Charles Leclerc in Hungary, though it is just a small project, the quality is high and it is packed with great passions."

"I have been fortunate enough to cross paths with Ha during my school life. Our relationship traces back to when we were in the English municipal varsity team. Initially, I was confident in my abilities, believing I could sweep the floor in the competition. But Ha shattered my expectations. From the outset, she was a pragmatically powerful and formidable student, someone who challenged not only me but also my perceptions of what excellence looks like.
Ha’s boldness stood in stark contrast to my world at that time. While I held back, she embodied a fearless energy that radiated confidence. In many ways, Ha mirrored parts of my inner self, the traits I admired but struggled to express. This duality created an interesting dynamic—I admired her, yet sometimes felt distanced by her the sheer magnitude of her capabilities. Still, Ha’s humility always bridged that gap. I’ve realized that my kindness has been applauded by hers, not by me. She brings others out every time.
Ha is able to manage her time and energy excellently, making a tremendous contribution to her surroundings, being an academic weapon while maintaining her active social life. Especially, Ha is the turn-to person for everyone whenever it comes to the best places to hang out. They are not conventional hubs for the youths, but rather hidden gems of the city. With her Vivu Pleiku project, Ha has shown her passion and natural interest in discovering alleys around the city. As a fellow Pleiku dweller, I am left astounded every time Ha shows me around, by her incredible realistic knowledge.
Soft as Ha is in interpersonal relationships, Ha’s an unparalleled warrior with dogged determination regarding achieving her goals. Ha is able to stay focused and resilient no matter what. Ha does everything so effortlessly, always brimming with a smile and radiating positivity regardless. I have envisioned the stress Ha would have endured as a leader when I consult for advice on such roles, yet Ha executed everything so effortlessly. She is the ace every project or club I know of would fight over—the ultimate missing piece of the puzzle, the mastermind every team dreams of. Deliciously interesting, sweetly hilarious, unfailingly curious and innovative, in her participation in TalkGreen with me, as the leader, Ha shows immense responsibility and capability. Ha was willing to share with me experiences, bridging my gap, and together we devise a scheme related to Biology although we do not get to study it officially.
As for me, a Linghu Chong embarking my own adventure to uncharted waters, Ha is the inspiration I yearn to draw from the most. Yet, my mind might get imploded due to her comprehensive perfection."
