"A majority of GED students have difficulty working with computers, and they may not have computers on their own at home."

The new rules make some students nervous because portions of the tests that they have already passed will be removed on the 31st of December.

The test is comprised of five components - writing, reading mathematics sciences, math, and writing and social sciences. Students who don't complete all five parts by the December deadline will be required to complete the entire test.

Since ACC will only offer the test by appointment only at the testing centers at the Highland Business Center and the Round Rock Campus and Highland Business Center, Borden said students need to schedule appointments well in advance to avoid the possibility of a wait.
