“Let History Speak” is a deep dive into several of the most challenging periods in our collective past. Teachers are provided with resources and documents that represent a wide variety of viewpoints that support students as they engage in the process of analysis and critical thinking. Through these materials, students are encouraged to develop their own understandings of our past and to make their own connections. While the Canvas site offers a wealth of supporting materials, it also allows you to dip into, modify and develop lessons, pick and choose resources and documents that best suit your course and student needs. "Let History Speak" is specifically aligned to the North Carolina 11th grade American History Standard Course of Study but also connects to a variety of courses for 8th - 12th grades.
The Let History Speak materials are also available in Canvas. Use the instructions below to access Let History Speak in the Canvas Commons and import it into your course.
