Warming up before a patriotic program with the Maryland Military Band. It's tough to get those action shots when you sit in the back of the ensemble--thank goodness for selfie mode! I started playing Trombone in 4th grade and eventually added Euphonium & Tuba.
After attending college, I became an active performer with community-based bands and other municipal ensembles.
Giving off those "...I believe I can fly..." vibes at this Spring Concert with the BSO's ORCHkids combined sites Wind Ensemble. The opportunity to conduct over 120 musicians in elementary-middle grades. I had the pleasure of teaching & working with this organization for 6 years in person.
Today, I continue my relationship to consult and develop teaching artists, young musicians, and contract work.
Goofing off between dress rehearsal and the gig. Mr. Robert is at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall; performing with Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's ORCHkids program as part of the special project: Creative Connections.
Composition at any age is nothing to fear. Mr. Robert has developed and advocated creative composition at all levels -- hear your music come alive!
Wherever your lesson journey leads you, approach your musical goals with
poise, preparation, practice and performance.
"Practice like you perform;
Perform like you practice."
