During this class you will learn secrets of making realistic 1:12 or 1:48 scale flowers and plants.  We will teach you simple shading and shaping techniques that will change paper, plastic or clay petals and leaves from lifeless to lifelike. The photos show how using these techniques makes a difference in realism.  Students will not necessarily make the plants shown.  Heather will supply each student with a variation of plant-making materials..

Supplies to bring: fine pointed tweezers, scissors, white or tacky glue, small paintbrush.  Optional: bring your own miniature vase or basket if you want to make an arrangement with your flowers; bring your own punches or unfinished plant kits; extra magnification and lighting, if needed.  Heather will also have some vases and baskets available for sale.
