This is Michael's third show as a member of the pit and second show as manager. He is also a life-long singer, but this is his Yorktown vocal debut! He extends his thanks to the cast for their eagerness to work with the orchestra, Ms. Kravitz and Ms. Mullins for the opportunity to sing, and continued infinite thanks to Mr. Witkowski for his support and dedication to student success.

Sophie is excited to be a part of her third musical! She has previously played in Beauty and the Beast and Annie. She has also been a part of Yorktown's marching band for the past four years. She would like to thank Mr. Witkowski and the rest of the pit orchestra for helping to put on an amazing show. Enjoy the performance!
Clarinet, Tenor Recorder
Dylan Yeo is very excited to be playing clarinet in the pit orchestra for this production of Les Mis! He has played clarinet for 9 years, including in last year’s production of Beauty and the Beast and with the Yorktown Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. He thanks his teachers and family for their support and is thrilled to be a part of this show.
Bass Clarinet, Tenor Saxophone
This is Connor’s third year and final year in the Pit Orchestra. He was a part of Annie (2022), Beauty and the Beast (2023), and now Les Miserables. He’s a member of the Yorktown Wind Ensemble as the principal Bass Clarinet. Connor has made the District-12 Band on Bass Clarinet for the past 3 years. Connor is also a member of The Yorktown Big Band on Tenor Saxophone, and plays Snare for Indoor Percussion and Marching Band.
Alto Saxophone, Soprano Saxophone
Morgan Test transposed the oboe and English Horn music to be able to play it on the soprano and alto sax. She also performed in Yorktown’s production of Beauty and The Beast last year.
French Horn
Storm is an 11th grader who has played French horn for three years. This is their second year in pit orchestra. They’re very excited about this musical, and have been listening to the soundtrack non-stop since the show was announced. When not in band, Storm enjoys spending time with their dog, guinea pigs, and quails.

Aidan Reese is delighted as a senior to be a part of this production of Les Miserables! Aidan is a senior and has been in marching band and jazz band. He wants to thank Mr. Witkowski and his parents Elisabeth and Andy for their support. There certainly won’t be a barricade protecting fellow pit members from his puns!

Andrew Dillon is a proud pit member of the YHS Les Miserables production. He has previously played in the Annie and Beauty and the Beast shows. He would like to thank Mr. Witkowski, Mr. Sherlock, Ms. Mullins, and Ms. Kravitz for their diligence, honesty, and vision.

Olivia is excited to be in the pit orchestra for the first time! She is a senior and a member of multiple musical ensembles at Yorktown playing both percussion and the bassoon. She would like to thank her parents Suzanne and Scott for their continued support of her through her musical journey.

Tessa Green is happy to be playing in the pit orchestra as a freshman! Her orchestral highlights are concertmaster of the Arlington Honors Orchestra, first violin of NoVa Regionals, principal second of the American Youth Symphonic Orchestra, and concertmaster of the Luzerne Summer Music Center in upstate New York. She wants to thank her family and especially her brother for extra rides to rehearsals. She’s had so much fun and can’t wait for next year!

After having worked in the set department for Annie, Puffs, and Beauty and the Beast, Sophie Coudert is honored to have taken on the role of Set Designer this year for The Play That Goes Wrong and Les Misérables. The set for this show was an enormous job to tackle and she is so grateful for all of the support and appreciation that's come with it. She is also excited for her first year in the pit orchestra.
